Mokume Care and Maintenance The material used in mokume gane construction has the potential to last for many lifetimes. Any alloys used in the construction of our Mokume is hypoallergenic wherever possible. If your piece contains Shakudo,it will settle into it’s own after about 1 week of use,based on the body chemistry of the wearer. It may visibly oxidize during this period. Mokume needs very little care in developing a luxurious patina over time,even with heavy use. Clean your Mokume with a 50/50 mix of ammonia (or mild detergent) and warm water. For complex designs and stone-settings needing additional cleansing,apply with a soft brush. You will find additional information regarding your WARRANTY on the reverse of this certificate. CONDITIONS OF LIFETIME WARRANTY If your product is found to have a defect in material or workmanship,Andura will repair such defect FREE of charge for the life of the ring. DIAMONDS AND GEMSTONES ARE NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY.Andura is not liable for lost or cracked stones, but in the unlikely event a stone happens to loosen or fall out,Andura will reset the original stone at no extra cost. If Andura determines that the product cannot be repaired, Andura will replace the product with either the same model, or one that is equivalent in the case of special styles, hand carved products or custom items. Mokume that contains Shakudo is subject to a full 5 year warranty from new. This warranty is valid only when a new Andura product is purchased from Andura Design, LLC and is available to the original purchaser only. OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIES This warranty does not cover damage or expenses incurred due to a lack of proper care for Andura's line of products. Retain proof of purchase invoice and certificate.You will be requested by Andura to provide proof of purchase in order to receive warranty service.Notify Andura of any apparent defects promptly upon their discovery. Please do not send your products to Andura without a return form. No collect shipments will be accepted. The maximum delay for returning an item for exchange is 30 days from delivery date.Jewelry shipped for resizing or refinishing can be sent back at any time.It is recommended to contact Andura before a product is being returned. It is preferable to include the parcel tracking number and shipping method in the email.
