Mokume metal combinations can vary widely, from subtle to striking. All the alloys we use are hypoallergenic and environmentally safe. Rings with silver and shakudo can be etched, to highlight the wood grain of a ring. Tri-gold is our category of rings using three or more colors of metal. Traditional tri-gold is entirely made up of alloys of gold, while our other tri-gold combinations contain silver, shakudo or palladium. Each combination has its own intrinsic beauty, just as different types of wood have different grain.
