![]() The same mokume billet can be patterned any number of ways. All patterns and forging are done by hand, and thus each ring has a completely unique character. Patterning can be controlled, but just as in wood carving, no two patterns are exactly the same. Rings forged and patterned from the same billet will appear to be cut from the same cord of wood. Pattern appearance will also vary depending upon the metal combinations used, as well as finish in the final phases of ring creation. Click here to see different finishes and styles of rings. |
